CCNA Voice Certification

CCNA Voice certification confirms a professional's basic knowledge of voice network administration.

The amount of knowledge and skills of a CCNA Voice specialist is sufficient to fulfill the duties of a voice systems administrator, an engineer for voice transmission networks. The CCNA Voice Specialist focuses on VoIP, IP PBX, Call Control and Voicemail.

Core CCNA Voice Specialist skills relate to Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) solutions. Such systems are typical for large companies such as government agencies, holdings, national companies and universities.

Additionally, CCNA Voice specialist skills can be used to work with Cisco Unified Communication Manager Express (CUCME) and Cisco Unity Express (CUE) solutions. These options are typical for organizations with a different profile of activity with the number of employees less than 2000.

CCNA Voice recertification

CCNA Voice certification is valid for 3 years. Certification requires passing any CCNA Security or CCNA Voice or CCNA Wireless exams, or any Professional Level 642-XXX test, or any Specialist level exam, or any CCIE or CCDE written exam.

CCNP Voice Certification

CCNP Voice certification confirms that a specialist has in-depth knowledge and skills required to integrate voice and media technologies into the existing structures of IP data networks.

In addition, this certification confirms that a specialist has sufficient experience to effectively solve the problems of implementation, configuration, support, troubleshooting in converged IP networks.
