Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Express

Cisco MeetingPlace Express (CMPE) is an audio, video, and web conferencing system. During a conference, voice communication can be accompanied by viewing and editing documents provided by any of the conference participants. Viewing presentation materials or editing documents is done using a web browser.

CMPE allows you to record a conversation in a conference in MP3 format.

The system has a graphical interface for creating and managing conferences. When creating a conference, you can set parameters such as subject, time and date, venue, list of participants, conference visibility in the conference list, etc. During a conference, you can turn on or off user microphones, enable presentation mode, control the audibility of users, and etc.

Ways to connect to the conference:

the participant calls the conference;

the conference calls the participant;

the participant through the web interface gives the command to call him;

During a conference, a participant can ask the conference to call an additional person who will also be participating in the conference.

Conference types:

one-time;

periodic: daily, weekly, monthly;

permanent (without the possibility of recording a conversation).

CMPE can integrate with directory services over LDAP to import user data into the system. In addition, the following methods for entering users are available: creating a user profile manually and automatically creating a user profile when you first log in.

Monitoring and reporting tools are available.

Cisco Unified Mobility

Cisco Unified Mobility gives users the ability to route incoming IP calls from Cisco Unified Communications Manager to the communications device they currently prefer: desk phone, office phone, mobile phone, home phone, or whatever. Moreover, users of the service can transfer a conversation from a mobile phone to a desktop device and vice versa without interrupting the conversation.

Using Cisco Unified Mobile Communicator, employees can:

Optimize communications by allowing subscribers to dial one number and redirect incoming calls to other numbers

Move active calls between your Cisco desktop device and your mobile phone online to take advantage of the best resource available in your call.

Simplify message management by routing missed calls to your Cisco Unity or Cisco Unity Connection account

Create personalized access lists that determine which business calls will be routed to alternate phone numbers.
